Basic Information

The Seattle Hand Surgery Group is an orthopedic practice on First Hill, at 600 Broadway near Swedish Medical Center, devoted entirely to the hand, wrist, elbow and upper extremity. Its five surgeons, Drs. William F. Wagner Jr., John A. Miyano, Elizabeth S. Joneschild, Beverlie L. Ting and Jimmy H. Daruwalla, are board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery, and each completed an additional year of fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. The team treats carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s disease, de Quervain’s syndrome, tennis elbow, ganglion cysts, mallet finger, and tendon and nerve injuries. Visits are supported by in-clinic X-ray imaging, an adjacent hand rehabilitation clinic staffed by occupational and physical therapists, and an on-site unit for outpatient surgery. When more complex care is needed, the surgeons also operate at area hospitals, including Swedish.
