Modern Dental is a privately owned Chicago dental practice that Dr. Phillip Palella opened on Division Street in 2009 and still owns and runs today. Free of corporate or private-equity backing, it has grown to three offices: Modern Dental on Division at 2037 W. Division St. in Wicker Park, Modern Dental of Logan Square at 2837 N. Milwaukee Ave., and Modern Dental on Clark at 744 N. Clark St. in River North. The team handles cleanings and exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, implant crowns, root canals, extractions and periodontal treatment, along with veneers, in-office whitening, mouth guards, dentures, and Invisalign or ClearCorrect aligners. Same-day emergency visits are available at all three offices, and new patients are welcome. The practice is in network with most PPO plans and is a Delta Dental Premier provider.
