Children’s Medical Group is an independently owned pediatric practice at 631 W. 38th St., Suite 3, in central Austin. Board-certified pediatricians Dr. Grace Holzman, Dr. Tammy McConnell, and Dr. Lorri Powell became the owners of Children’s Medical Group of Austin, PLLC in August 2023, and the team also includes Dr. Sarah Muela, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. The practice cares for children from newborns onward with well-child visits, sick-child visits, telemedicine appointments, and in-office laboratory testing, along with immunizations and sports physicals. Expecting and new parents can attend a free monthly newborn class covering breastfeeding, immunizations, jaundice, fever, and what to expect at the hospital. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and after-hours calls go to an answering service.
